On November 9th, the team from Cardiovascular Surgery Team of Medical Center of Texas University visited our hospital and gave on-the-spot guidance for aortic valve replacement + tricuspid annuloplasty. Professor Zhou Shaofeng and Professor Li Tao also conducted deep cooperation talks with our hospital.Deputy director of the Chengdu Municipal Health Planning Commission Zhao Ping, Deputy director of Department of Science and Education Information Gu Haitao, President Xu Junbo, Secretary Ou Zhiyong, Vice President Liu Zaoyang, Vice President Liu Ya and relevant departments attended the meeting.

At the meeting, Deputy Director Zhao Ping introduced the medical status of Chengdu and proposed that through this cooperation, the technology and resource advantages of the cardiac vascular surgery team of Medical Center of Texas University will be fully utilized to serve our Renji Heart Center，which will drive the improvement of the medical technical level of the entire hospital and establish a long-term strategic cooperative relationship between China and the United States. Professor Zhou Shaofeng agreed to serve as a visiting professor of our hospital, establishing a mechanism for exchanges and visits between the two sides, inviting US experts to the hospital for technical guidance and training. Our hospital regularly selects key personnel to visit the United States for studying and training, striving to build our hospital into a large blood center in Southwest China.

Through the cooperation between the two parties, we will certainly promote the development of relevant disciplines in our hospital on the basis of building the advantageous discipline, improve the management level of hospitals, and contribute to the creation of “Healthy Chengdu”.
